A Chamber of Commerce for Albania and Luxembourg

Albania and Luxembourg are brought closer together with the establishment of the Chamber of Commerce Albania – Luxembourg which was launched officially on 8 February 2018 at Pall Center in Oberpallen Luxembourg.

This event was organized by the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce with the support of the Ambassador of Albania to Luxembourg Mrs. Suela Janina, the Ambassador of Luxembourg to Albania Mrs. Nadia Ernzer, the Secretary of State for Sustainable Development and Infrastructure Mr. Camille Gira and the Director of Pallcenter S.A., Mrs. Christiane Wickler.

The event welcomed members from businesses, from public authorities and citizens from both countries. The inauguration was opened by the speech of Mr. Artan Vigani, President of this Chamber of Commerce who highlighted that the purpose and the vision of this Chamber of Commerce is to bring these countries together by building bridges to support business development and exchanges in natural and human resources and experience.

Mrs. Janina, Mrs. Ernzer and Mr. Gira stressed the importance of business relations between the two countries and on the support of both governments to this initiative which is expected to bring more business collaboration between Albania and Luxembourg.

Mrs. Uruci, Vice President of this Chamber of Commerce in her closing speech said that the opening of this Chamber of Commerce comes at an important time when Albania is part of the EU Commission strategy for 'A credible enlargement perspective for and enhanced EU engagement with the Western Balkans’.

Mrs. Christiane Wickler who was the host of the event in Pall Center in Oberpallen and the first strategic partner of this Chamber of Commerce said that Albania and Luxembourg are both small countries with big potential and if we join forces it will bring benefit to people from both countries.

Following this inauguration, a first stand with Albanian organic products is exposed at the Pallcenter S.A. in Oberpallen, Luxembourg. During this week the visitors of Pall Center can taste these fresh organic products such as safran, olive oil, honey, sweets, wine, cognac, etc., from great Albanian producers such as Subashi, Shkalla, Belba, Safran & Ko, Artizanale Mjeda, Konjak Skenderbeu, Alb Kalustyan and Ulliri i Beratit.
